Beno�t is an associate professor of sport management, specializing in sport marketing at the University of Ottawa. His research on sponsorship, ambush marketing, and Olympic Marketing has been published in a variety of international journals and co-authored Olympic Marketing (Routledge). Beno�t has extensive professional experience having held leadership positions with Diving Canada, Synchro Canada, Aquatic Federation of Canada, and as Assistant Chef de Mission for Canada�s team at the 2003 Pan American Games. He is a supervising professor at the International Olympic Academy (Olympic marketing and sponsoring), at the Russian International Olympic University (business of sport and the Olympics) and a lecturer for the Executive Masters in Sport Organizations Management (MEMOS), an international program supported by Olympic Solidarity. |
